sudbury halloween party.

halloween party at the sudbury family. it was fun. she does this dinner with spooky things, and the kids love to guess what it is. she made these worms (that were out of jello) they were really good but i couldn't eat it because of the texture and mason (our little nephew) threw up! it was fun to see all the kids dress up. i love nate and mystee though. they always have the best costume, since we throw ours together in five minutes!

we played at my parents while the guys were pouring cement for my dad's garage. the horses at the neighbors were being friendly so my kids were loving life! they love animals. we love playing out there, so much fun at grandmas!

grandma caught the kids a lady bug. amazing how much fun a lady bug can be. and since it accidentally escpaed from it's cup it was in. dax had grandma looking all over for another one, or a caterpillar or anything he could have. now we have a caterpillar and a praying mantis (however you spell that). he loves his little pets!

gardner village..

we went to gardner village on friday. it was so much fun. i love the witches! my kids loved them too. it was a fun outing with all us girls and the kids.

my little helpers...

well i try to have my children help me so that i don't just yell at them when i'm trying to do things. i learned from watching my mom with them one day that if they helped her they weren't being so naughty to get attention. (i need more patience still though). i read this story once about how this mom told about how long it takes to bake a cake with her children. it was hilarious i wish i could find it, but in a nut shell it said that it takes about three times as long, and you use twice the amount of ingredients sometimes cause it either gets spilled or ruined by the "helpers". well i just laughed last night as i was cleaning up dinner, and my kids were being great! and i'll be honest they're not always great for me at that moment. and i looked down after wiping of the counter to find my dishwasher had some new items! tysie was helping me, and she was quite proud of herself for it. she is quite facinated with the new snow boots she just got (since i was in big trouble sunday morning when i didn't have any for either of my kids).

it's funny to see how different boys and girls are when they help. it was cute.

kari and Gooch's wedding...

Kari and Gooch got married yesturday! it was such a fun day. she looked BEAUTIFUL! my kids had a blast at the temple with everyone. congrats mr. and mrs. gooch!
