kembrie hosptial...rsv

seriously poor kembrie! i wrote that on a post a while ago. but things continue to go worse for her! my kids had colds a couple weeks ago, and little did i know it was rsv. by the time it hit tysie it was worse than it was for dax so i made her a dr. appt. and ended up having him look at kembire instead. good thing i did. he rushed me right over to mckay dee hopsital and we admitted her that night. he had still been worried about her jandice cause her bili was still about a 15. so combined with rsv her risks for complications went up. so we got there and they put her under the lights and started to deep suction her to test to make sure it was rsv. it took about a day to get the test back, but she was positive. she wasn't too bad the first few days, but i learned being there that they peek at day 5. which was sunday and looking at the pic's below that's the day she got put on oxygen. it was so sad. it broke my heart to see her in there. she hated the sunglasses (for the lights) and she hated the oxgyen tube. who wouln't! so she was on the breathing treatments until monday and then we eneded both that and oxygen. we kept sucking her out and ended up leaving on tuesday and her bili went down to 8.9.
as much as i hated being in the hospital with her, i'm glad she hit the worst of it there rather than at home with me! they put her on oxygen while i was asleep! i had no idea. they took good care of her and we're so glad to be home! she's doing really good now. i have the BBG at home, but not using it a whole lot. funny though she gained 10 ounces while she was in the hospital! who gains weight when they're sick!
day 5 (of rsv)

day 4, the night before oxygen. she looks really good here.

a little smile!

such a sad face, she looked so horrible that day.

today! a much happier, better looking baby!

thanks to my parents who had to take my other kids for me! what would i seriously do without you! the kids had a blast. thank you!

Janae I am so sorry your kids all had RSV. That is no fun, especially with a new born. I am glad to hear that they all are doing much better though. I hope they continue to get feeling better then we can get together and play!!

I am so sorry to hear about Kembrie, but glad to hear that she is doing better. If you ever need to sent the kids over fell free, we would love to have them.
I also think Kembrie looks just like Dax-so freaking cute!
