spring fever!

can spring come any faster?! is anyone else sick of sick kids! it hasn't been a very fun 2 weeks at our house. we had the flu and it was terrible. any of you who have had it this year know. it was horrible. lucky me i had it along side mastitis which is always a treat! then i noticed last week that dax had a bunch of dried blood in his ear. i wished i woud've seen it since i saw my dr. twice last week! i was worried about it and not quite sure what it was from he hasn't complained about his ear at all. he's had so many ear infections from the time he was little that he learned to live with the pain. and we even put tubes in last year, and took out tonsils and adnoids that we damaged because of all his previous infections. but this time his EAR DRUM RUPTURED!!! how painful the poor kid. my dr. said he doesn't think he's seen one that bad in a child. so we put him on some antibiotic to kill the existing infection and we'll check him out in about a week or so and see if we should put the tube back in. i feel so bad for him. we know all too well in our family how ears affect your body with my brother in law eric and his manears. i hope that these problems don't continue he just can't catch a break!
