well daxtons birthday isn't for a few weeks still, but i was not about to have a birthday party with a new baby. so it was a little early. this party has been a long time in the making because he said he wanted a pirate party like 8 months ago! it turned out really good, and all the boys were so fun and so cute. he really has darling little friends. so here's a little peek at the party.bode gave him a pirate sword which was a huge hit! (not to mention he gave him basketball shorts too! he loves basketball shorts!)

the kitchen. i think it may have been a little scary? we had alot of skeletons..but it doesn't bother dax so i wasn't too worried.

my kitchen table!! ha! i had this bright idea that we had to have a pirate flag hanging so the night before i got some cheap fabric and just decided to paint one myself (since there's no way i'd pay ten bucks for one!) and i didn't put anything down on my table because the fabric slid too much....and so instead i ended up with a skull on my table! it came off..not like i'm worried i love my table but it's nothing special and it needs to be painted again anyways. my spray paint job has lasted five years that's pretty good!

draper temple.

isn't the temple beautiful! you can't see it to good in these pictures, but it's gorgeous! i'm so glad we went down. (little hint: go during the day it's not busy) it was an experience for dax that i know he'll remember forever. he was so amazed. it's open till march14 so go if you have the chance! thanks mom for taking us!

will it ever come!

seriously i couldn't be any more pregnant! and if this day ever finally gets here as nervous as i am for c-section number three! i'm so uncomfortable that i don't know if i'll care. i think babies make you so uncomfortable at the end that you'll do anything to have them out, even though so much work lies ahead. i think i'm ready for the work.... as hard as i know my life will soon be. i'll trade spit up and nursing for my overly large belly! although if i don't actually think of what i'm going to name this little girl she may not have one. there are some names that we like but i just don't feel like i've found the right one! if anyone has any cute girl names i'd love some input! dax thinks we have her named...but we'll see:)

get ready for baby!

some of the fun new stuff my sweet mother made for me for the baby! i'm so excited to use my car seat cover! such a genius idea. i didn't think i'd be so excited each time to have a baby...but the anticipation is all the same. i'll admit more uncomfortable this time but i'm seriously on the countdown! i've got my bag packed and bedroom ready and everything washed (i know a little early) but i hope this month goes by fast!

frosting!

so i really should know when i have helpers the only thing they want is to eat the frosting (thanks mom! just kidding) so when i was making cupcake balls, and left the frosting on the counter for seriously two seconds while i ran to the bathroom...i should not be suprised this is what i came back to! tysie is so funny. and don't let dax fool you he had his fair share just didn't try to stick his entire face in the container!

late christmas post......

so better late than never christmas pictures! we had a great christmas and got spoiled by our families as we always do. the kids had fun, i think dax really "got christmas" this year and so santa and christmas morning with him was really fun. tysie on the other hand was miserable! she had a fever for three days straight which happened to be yes, christmas eve and christmas day. so much fun. so needless to say mine wasn't so enjoyable either. and my poor family had to listen to her cry all day christmas day. here's just a few pic's of the two days.

tysie got a baby, stroller and car seat (also grandma taylor) she loves it! she's a little overprotective (that's and understatement) and won't show you if you come over because she still thinks someone is going to steal it if they look at it! she loves it.

santa!

nativity

we went to a live nativity in layton on saturday night with the wagstaff's and it was so neat. our ward party next week is going to be "a night in bethlehem" so we'll get to see another one next week also. i love it. the nativity was unreal the work that these people put into it, so real for kids. dax was actually a little scared of the bad guys (the roman soldiers), but he hasn't stopped talking about seeing baby jesus. i think it finally made him realize that jesus is real. i'm so glad that our ward is doing that nativity also, no more santa at the party! i love that we're bringing the center of everything back to what it's all about. my family does a nativity every year and it's our favorite part about the party. my grandma made these amazing costumes, although the sheets and towels used to work too! and all the cousins dress up. kari, lauren, lyndsie, and shelley are ALWAYS the angels and they do quite the dance number as they come out. and for some reason when i'm pregnant (which is every other year!) i get to be mary. although i think the best mary and joseph we had was my grandma and grandpa white last year. they were great. i think tyise should be mary this year! she'd love to hold the baby. this is a picture of dax as a shephard at the party in 2006. i can't find my pictures from last year. but i can't wait to see my kids do it this year also.... and kari and shelley i'm excited for the dance number too:)

also, my favorite live nativity ever is the one in st.george at Tuachan. it's actually the place braden "proposed" . it's amazing they have all the live animals and all they play is this song breath of heaven. and you can't help but cry the spirit is so amazing. so all my girls in st.george i hope you can go for me since i won't be down there!
