the best birthday ever!!

wow what a day! my birthday started way before the 4th for me this year. i've felt so spoiled this year, thanks to so many good friends and family! my mom took me shopping in slc last week (with no kids but kembrie yay!) and my sweet husband gave me some birthday $$$ (thanks to alot of people going to jail the past weekend....p.s. he's a bail bondsmen if you didn't know) so we had a great day without kids, and i actually found me some much needed new clothes. then my darling friend patrice took me to get MY FIRST PEDICURE! it was so fun. we went there, and then to olive garden (with again kembrie) but she was so good and it was so fun to get out. i NEVER get out! then we had all the festivities on the 4th thanks to my parents. we started at the plain city parade, then went to the park and let dax dive for fish! and then headed to willard bay for some boating fun. then we went to my moms for a BIRTHDAY BBQ which was decorated like you would not believe! it was so cute! then to the FIREWORKS with the wagstaffs. so LONG but so much fun day.

4th of july crafts!

we love making treats, crafts or anything festive at our house. my kids looove to make things. so we made some fireworks (thanks to my mom picking up some supplies for me:) with toilet paper rolls, paper and the cute little sparkler at the top. and the little stars which were supposed to be hanging from my lights in my house...but i still haven't drilled the holes through them. and most of all our bakerella balls! yay i finally got them to work. (they still don't compare to hers...) they're yummy and even my skeptical husband liked them.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY OH SO CUTE NEPHEW CARTER! we had his birthday celebration with our family last week since they were in town, carter is so cute. i can't believe he's one! shelley did such a cute job on his cake, and i only wish my camera hadn't died because he enjoyed his first birthday cake better than any other one year old i know! it was so hilarious! happy birthday bud!

i ran my first 5k!!!!!!!!!

thanks to my mom pushing me, and my running partner patrice. i ran my first 5K! i Can't believe i did it honestly. i am not a runner! but we had fun. my cute mom ran with a broken tailbone, and a hurt ankle and we only had to walk twice for about 2 minutes. (my child bearing hips bones were killing me!) but we did it! maybe someday i'll catch up with kari my little marathon running sister! or maybe next year ragnar? (ceryl do you think we could do it?)

SuMmEr fUn!!!

we've been having so much fun this summer! just staying around home..but so busy! we loooove our neighbors and friends that we play with. here's some our summer days....

our cute girls love moving water from pool to pool, and watering our flowers(they get alot of water) and filling up the pool.

bode has a slip n slide, so we tested it out the other day on our lawn. the kids were so funny. we've tried it before and dax made my mom slide and show her what to do. he's finally got the hang of it!

ok...so i thought i was really clever, but i needed to some yard work, and where do you put a baby so she's not in the sun....in our playhouse! i put her bouncer in there and switch off with a blanket so she can roll around and she loves it. the kids were so cute with her too. she got to play house!

i cannot tell you how excited i am that we finally have some of our yard done. we seeded our lawn a couple months ago....and now we can finally play on it. up close it isn't perfect yet. but i have mowed it twice now and it's doing so good! it's been such a long time coming. i love it!
