we love to waterski!!

our summer "taylor family trips" have come to an end :(

we had sooo much fun! this trip was probably the COLDEST but most BEAUTIFUL place i have ever been! we got to celebrate hali and renner's 1st birthday, and waterskiied on some of the best water we've had in our lives. so it was a GREAT trip. thanks to mom and dad for all the planning and hard work.

i packed backpacks for the kids. since it was such a long drive. i guess markers were not a good idea!

if we could have a farm, i'm not kidding my life would be so easy! (let me rephrase...a farm is a TON of work. but dax is my battle each day. so my life with him would be easy) my brother jared has some longhorns now at my parents house, and dax is in heaven! he loves to just stare at them (and steals some of grandma's branches to feed them) jared even let him spray them once for bugs(?) if only i had a farm.......these longhorns are pretty cool though. i had never seen one in person. jared has pigs too. needless to say jared is his hero.

kembrie is 6 months!

6 months old!!!

can you believe it! (ok well in 2 days but i'm close enough!) she's such a sweet baby. by far the best of my 3. she's rolling all over, sitting up and eating baby food, and looking more and more like her brother. oh and she's huge! well we go to the dr. in a week or so, but at her 4 month she was in the 90% for her weight and height and 40% for her head. so funny. but i bet she still is. she's such a chunk! i love it!

discovery gateway! we took a trip to the childrens museum, and rode frontrunner down. so much fun. my kids were way happier on a train than they are in my car and you can't feed a baby while driving a car so the train really worked for me! thanks christa for the invite!

my husband found this toad in the middle of the road one night as we were coming home, and slammed on the brakes to get it for dax. i had no idea a frog could make my little boy so happy! look at his smile. he was out there for 3 days straight non stop when we first found it. he's backed off a little (the poor frog i feel bad for him) but he loves his frog!

so i decided to post the game. (hope nobody gets mad at me..but i look the goofiest!)

so we had medical tubing tied to the pole, then it went arould your ears and under your nose (so uncomfortable.) and the mom's had a marshmallow on a string they had the other end. so you had to pull on the tubing and stretch it to get the mallow! so funny! it felt so weird. but we love camping games, the infamous "bum darts" and now this....what will they come up with next!

bear lake!

gotta love bear lake! one of my favorite places. i love this trip. the moms are so good at planning and put so much time into it. we even had "fiesta night" this year so much fun! i had so much help from everyone since i was solo with the kids most of the time. so thanks to shelley & eric for letting us bombard their trailor and my parents for your help and ceryl for even letting my little kembrie pee on you! i really appreciated your help!

i love to sky ski. and of course i didn't get any pictures of braden...the battery died when he got in the water. it always does!
