well i just took dax to the bathroom. tysie was asleep so he loves having the attention of me coming in with him. and he is so much like my husband because he's in there FOREVER! so we have quite lengthy conversations in there. and any of you that know dax, you know it's not your average 3 year old conversation. i decided it's really the best talks we have! funny that they are in the bathroom, but he loves to talk while we're in there. he asks alot of questions and wants to know about everything in full detail. sometimes i get annoyed with it during the day because i think i have so much more to do. but really i need to cherish those moments more often, he's a crack up.
so part of our talk today was about the baby. and p.s. it's a girl! and he is not anywhere near excited about this yet. we kept telling him we didn't get to choose what our babies are. and so he wanted to know who does, and i told him heavenly father does (how do you answer that!) so when i came home from the doctor yesterday and broke the news to him, (and his dad) he was quite upset. he cried the entire day off and on. and he kept asking me why heavenly father would do that and why didn't he listen to his prayers. (sad) but today i think we made more progress! we at least are to the understanding that no a boy is not coming out, and it's a girl. and all he wants to know is if santa will bring him something really good this year because he'll need it with all these girls! (and he thinks dad needs something special too ) he said it has to be something really boyish. the fact that he comes up with that just kills me though. he sounds like jared sometimes!
but i will continue to love my bathroom moments!

I just love the things Dax says they are hillarious I try not to laugh at him sometimes because he is so serious about what he is saying! I love that your conversations take place in the bathroom, too cute!

Dax for sure is not your typical little boy. The stuff he says just cracks me up. He seems really smart for his age.
