jared caught a turtle in the ditch at my parents house the other day, and called the kids to come out and see it. they hadn't ever seen one before in person. it was fun for them, jared is so cute with my kids he held it in his hand and the turtle clawed the crap out of his arm trying to get away. and he was teaching dax all about turtles, and how they swim and the patterns on their shells he's so good to my kids. 
i think it was almost as big as her!
so after playing with it for a little while, we had to release it back into the ditch. so after we did dax wanted to watch it keep swimming so he'd make jared get down and find it and make it swim again.

How fun! It's a huge turtle! It's weird to think he found it in the ditch just right there by the house!
So cute... they are so into that turtle. Tysie looks a little grossed out in the one pic. Your kids are so dang cute. I'm bummed out about the pool being closed. Lets go to the park or something this week. I need to see Tysie before she gets any bigger.
