ski lessons from grandpa!

dax went skiing for his first time last week!

it was sooo fun to see him ski. i love skiing, and grew up so blessed to be able to do so. my dad worked at powder mountain when we were kids so we could have ski passes. we lived on the mountain growing up and i'm grateful to my dad and mom for giving me that opportunity. it made our family so close (between that and waterskiing) we loved skiing together and i never even wanted to ski with friends, i loved skiing with my family.

i've been a slacker getting my kids up there! i won my first ski race when i was 3 1/2, and dax is finally going at 5! i have got to work on this. but it was a proud moment for me as a mom to see him doing something that i love. my parents were so great to take him up and teach him how to ski. he's such an awesome grandpa! and although grandma isn't in any pictures it's cause she's the great camera man! thanks mom for documenting it for me. me, tysie and kembrie were cheering him on at the lodge and playing in the snow.
